About usOne Flag Disaster Response Teams is a registered non-profit (501(c) (3)) charity organization providing disaster relief worldwide. We are a dedicated team of first responders who have over 30 years of combined experience in disaster relief. A few of our biggest international response efforts include the tsunami in Thailand, the earthquake and cholera outbreak in Haiti, and the typhoon in the Philippines. Domestically we have responded to Hurricane Rita and Hurricane Katrina. As an organization whose sole priority is helping others, 100% of all donations goes directly towards the preparation and implementation of our services. Donations made to our organization are also tax-deductible.

Objective
One Flag DRT's objective is to provide rapid and appropriate response to disasters - man-made and natural, domestic and international.
Our goal is to have an assessment and treatment team on the ground within 24 hours of the disaster. This team will assess the major needs and request a response team from our organization that fits those particular needs. These volunteer teams can be comprised of firefighters, paramedics, doctors, nurses, and other need-specific skill sets.
One thing that sets us apart from many other disaster response organizations is our desire to do more than just meet the immediate needs post-disaster. We are able to provide training that builds up local communities to care for themselves and have the essential disaster preparedness skills before disaster strikes. Contact us to learn more. |
Because of the nature of our work, One Flag DRT relies heavily on volunteer doctors, nurses, PA's, firefighters, paramedics, EMT's and other volunteers who are willing and able to quickly adjust their schedules to meet a crisis. These volunteers are able to provide relief for local hospitals and mobile clinics with the ability to provide everything from basic first aid to surgeries. Our volunteers are also able to provide rebuilding in the communities, water purification, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
To help developing nations facing such catastrophic disasters, our teams can provide trainings for local first responders, doctors, nurses, and other services. We have volunteers who have taught Emergency Medical Technical level classes in countries such as the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and Haiti. |
